About
Tim Sarno first started woodworking in the basement of his childhood home with his father, where they would, as his father used to say, “Make sawdust”.
As an engineering student at the Rochester Institute of Technology Tim was exposed to the School For American Craftsman. He began taking furniture design classes and was hooked. After graduating Tim worked as a cabinet maker, furniture salesman, draftsman and designer before starting Tim Sarno Design in 1994 in his basement.
Over the years Tim Sarno Design has grown, and Tim has moved out of the basement and now has a studio in The Artisan Resource Center in Marietta, Georgia just outside of Atlanta.
